Pream Kumar Yedaty, after having completed B.Sc(Tech.) from UDCT in 1972, started a Chemical factory at Ambernath, District Thane. Later on in 1989 he started a project to develop horticulture & pleasure farming going by the name of Woody Acres which is spread over 250 Acres near Badlapur. Eventually he decided to call it a day & hence sold the chemical business off to Jubilant Life Sciences.
